Christofer Medina, Assistant Director and Choreographer
Prior to auditioning for the Gablettes his sophomore year in high school, Chris had never taken a dance class. Not only did he make the team, but by his senior year had earned the position as a team leader. A year after graduating, Chris auditioned for NDA staff, and was selected to be one of their camp instructors. He has spent the last 3 summers traveling the country working with different dance teams and learning from his fellow staff members. He also started his career as a competition choreographer, and created his first competitive routine for his home team, the Gablettes
After being reinspired by his NDA travels, Chris auditioned for the New World School of the Arts Collegiate Dance Program. He was admitted to the program and began his formal training in fall of 2013. He continues to choreograph for schools in the Miami area, and is looking to expand his choreography beyond Florida. He is also excited to be venturing into the world of dance adjudication.
